Obviously, there is no foolproof method to win all sports bets. However, there are several strategies that will not only serve to increase profits in the long run, but also limit any losses that the player may have to suffer during their betting journey. In this final part of our guide, we will try to go into detail about some of the sports betting methods that we recommend to start your business, always trying to set the odds amounts responsibly. Next, we will introduce you to the Masaniello Method and the 1-2 Method, both excellent systems to win bets!
Win bets with the 1-2 method

The 1-2 method is one of the football betting tricks that bettors use to increase their winnings. This type of betting can bring a very good return on the match played, making it very profitable in the long run. The system consists of betting on the double chance 1-2 and even, with two different bets. By “even” in this case we mean the prediction that refers to the even goal total of the match (ie 0-0, 2-0, 0-2, 1-1, 2-2, 3-3, 4-0, 3-1, 1-3) and chooses the X sign. For this reason, this method is often played in a system with multiple combinations, which guarantees players a considerable return.
But let’s see how the 1-2 method works. First, you need to find odds where the 1-2 double chance pays out around 1.30; at the same time, the draw should be around the 1.80 mark. At this point, you can play on 6 events (of course, be careful when choosing, a minimum level of study of the matches under consideration is essential), both the 1-2 double and the draw, thus building a 64-column system. There will inevitably be a winning column, since each team can alternately win or draw. A method that allows two conditions to be met.
If a match ends with one of the teams winning and the goal total is equal (for example, 2-0, 3-1 or 4-0), both predictions are valid: for every 1-2 correct result, the win columns are doubled. Continuing with the example, we could consider other scenarios. Winning sounds simple, but it is not: in fact, there is a chance that you lose if certain conditions occur. For example, if all matches ended with a 1-0 result, there would only be one win column (capital loss). With five 1-0 results and one 2-0 result; also with four 1-0 results and two 2-0 results.
As we have seen, this system is not without its criticisms, especially for less experienced users who may find the game mode complicated or for those who have difficulty with a more serious mathematical approach.
The Masaniello Method

In this section of our tutorial we will introduce you to the Masaniello method. Since its invention, this amount management tool has established itself as one of the most successful in the sports betting world to make money from sports betting in a mathematical way. Those who already have a good knowledge of betting have probably heard of the Masaniello method: it is a mathematical model based on Excel spreadsheets, developed in 2002 by Massimo Mondò and Ciro Masaniello.
Once you have set up the 4 variables, thanks to the Excel spreadsheet, this system will allow you to know how much money you have to invest in the chosen series of events and know what the final profit will be. It is very important to choose events that do not take place at the same time: because if the predictions we enter contain more errors than those we predicted, we can always “adjust” our bet by changing the amount of bets and extending the series.
To use the Masaniello method, you must first set an initial budget and then select the events you want to bet on by setting the average odds and the number of events. After that, you must set a margin of error: this step allows you to calculate what amount you need to invest to get a profit margin. After that, enter the data in the Excel spreadsheet that records budget, selected games and odds. Now you can know the profits you can get and calculate how much you can invest in the event. Finally, don’t forget to readjust the progression in case the results don’t happen: the method we are considering is very flexible and allows you to modify it by clicking on “Extend progression” in Excel.
Now we come to a question that certainly interests the majority of Italian bettors: can Masaniello be used in football betting? The answer is clearly in the affirmative. This method was born and developed in Italy and therefore the first sport for which it was developed is precisely the game that Italians love the most. For this reason, it is also suitable for playing predictions with three possible outcomes (the classic 1X2).
